Become a Day Dream Believer
Writing in a journal helps you to recognize your own feelings over certain things or events, no matter how mundane. It is how I got started in the enjoyment of writing.
To start, a question you might ask yourself is: What is my intention for today. This means what is it that I intend to create for myself today. An intention could be: Today I will give a smile to at least one person I pass on the street.
A journal entry to this could be: did I work towards my intention today? If you did, how did it make you feel. Remember how it felt to accomplish that one task. Let your thoughts flow onto the paper. Don’t edit just write. You can edit later if you wish.
