Rebecca and Jessica will tell you so. In May 2018 the two business partners opened the doors to their artisan boutique market, Urban Wheel on 412573 Cranberry Line in Tillsonburg Ontario. Their store is connected to Sundown Farms Market. A family run produce and local food market. If you are looking for that unique shower gift for a wedding or baby you will definitely find something here.
Rebecca and Jessica hand pick the local vendors for their store making sure customers are purchasing quality items. All soaps and lotions are Health Canada approved.
Looking to do a sign painting class? You can also do that here with Jessica’s help. Jessica comes from a creative background in graphic design, so her talents are working on the creative side to their marketing, including their website.
You will recognize Rebecca when you see her as she is the face to the Urban Wheel Facebook live videos. Rebecca keeps the videos real and showcases new inventory every week. You can find their Facebook page at Urban Wheel Co.
Now they are building their online store. The online store will provide shopping in your own home. You will be able to have your items shipped to your location or stop by the store to pick up your items.
And just like that they are expanding their location next year to accommodate their current 42 vendors plus new vendors coming on board.
The new addition will make room for their vendors to spread out. The Urban Wheel vendors range from baby items, soaps, ladies and children’s scarves, toques and they even have a corner for men with beard oils, shaving creams and soaps. They even have gifts for your fur babies.
The online shopping will be a great addition in January and February as the retail store will be closed because even young entrepreneurs need time off. No worries you will be able to still purchase online. These two ladies have everything under control. And they see their dream growing each day.
Jessica and Rebecca will tell you “You know exactly what you are getting when you come here”. These two ladies are proving you can have a dream come true. Being young entrepreneurs offers the flexibility to look after family and run your own business. You can take your kids to work any day you want, which helps out tremendously at times.
Rebecca and Jessica are looking forward to their first holiday shopping season. They know it will be super busy but so worth it.
